Married Samuel James DOWNHOUR.

Notes

  •       My grandfather Leeland Deney lived for a time in Morristown Minnesota where he married Dorothy Mae Downhour (Daughter of Samuel James Downhour and Stella Effa Dean) and they had two sons.  Story went that he put Dorothy (pregnant with my father) on a Train with toddler Harold to Washington state and he then rode the rail in a box car and met her there at their destination.  Leeland Deney served in both WW1 and WW2 ( I have a great deal of info of his term in the Navy SeaBee's - The 38th Naval Construction Battalion). Leeland lived in Oregon and then made Washington State his permanent home. Leeland and his brothers Roy Sylvestor Deney and Robert Edward Deney moved to Ruston Washington and then Leeland moved to Sheridan, Oregon then to Roseberg Oregon and then to Olympia, Tacoma and Puyallup, Washington.  The other children of Edgar Deney remained in Minnesota.
