    Albert J. "Al" Landowski, age 73, of Prior Lake, died on Wednesday, March 10, 2004, at St. Francis Regional Medical Center in Shakopee.
    Mr. Landowski was born on March 20, 1930, in Waite Park, the son of Joseph and Tillie (Gapinski) Landowski. He married Rosemary Pfaff on April 24, 1954, at the Basilica of St. Mary in Minneapolis. He was the retired owner of Al's Landscaping and Nursery which he operated with his wife. Mr. Landowski served in the Army during the Korean War and was a member of the Savage American Legion Post and the Fred Babcock Veterans of Foreign Wars Post of Richfield. He was very a dedicated member of Ducks Unlimited.

    Survivors include his wife, Rosemary; brothers, Leo (Renee) of Fond du Lac, Wis., Ben (Helen) of St. Cloud, and Richard (Pat) of Coon Rapids; sister, Josephine (John) Pierson of Aitkin, Minn.; nieces and nephews; brothers-in-law, Paul (Rosie) Pfaff of Columbia Heights and Robert (Martha) Pfaff of Rosemount; sister-in-law, Grace Pfaff of Hopkins; and brother-in-law, Donald Vinton of St. Cloud.

    He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Peter and Severin; and sister, Viola.

    Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, March 15 at 11 a.m. at St. Michael's Catholic Church in Prior Lake. Burial will be at Fort Snelling National Cemetery with Honors.

    Visitation is Sunday from 3-7 p.m. at the Cavanaugh-McNearney Funeral Home in Shakopee and at the church one hour prior to the Mass on Monday.

    The family prefers memorials to Ducks Unlimited.
